Wayne Rooney says Manchester United are learning to play the Barcelona way in order to beat them.

The Catalans have been widely lauded for their slick tiki-taka passing, but Rooney believes it is Barca's ability to defend as a unit which has made them such a fearsome force.

Even her own parents, are shown to be living in a dream world, while their daughter is taking a devious path.

The scene shifts to the peaceful surroundings of Darjeeling. The University of Arkansas is closed today due to the unbelievable amount of snow falling in Arkansas right now. I heard on the news this morning that we received around 25 inches last year. This was a record breaking year. We may receive over 2 feet with this storm. This year's snow totals will obliterate last year's. This area of the country is not equipped for this type of weather. We do not have the plows to keep up with the snow fall. Everyone is encouraged to stay home. Roads are currently impassable in may areas. Most often, it will snow and then melt away the next day. Temperatures have been staying cold enough that the snow is accumulating and occurring on top of what we had last week. In northern areas of the US, this is normal. It is not typical in this part of the country. Next week we are expecting 50-60 degree temperatures. Tomorrow it is supposed to be below zero in the morning. Until it warms up, we are stuck.

It is a beautiful snow, though. The snow is expected to continue until this afternoon or evening. It's not finished yet. I have tried to upload photos but it is not currently working. I'll try again later.

This article, "Bill Clinton wants more credit" is topping Drudge under the heading "I want more credit." But let's see what's really going on here. Midway in the piece, there's this quote:

"I'm telling you this to point out that we need a coherent narrative... The No. 1 rule of effective politics, especially if the people you're running against have a simple narrative — that government is always the problem, there is no such thing as a good tax or a bad tax cut, there's no such thing as a good program or a bad program cut, no such thing as a good regulation or a bad deregulation — if you're going to fight that, your counter has to be rooted in the lives of other people...."

So... he wants stories and anecdotes, not a countervailing simple message?

Some fields of course already operate in predominantly collaborative ways, as do most successful online projects, but the humanities in general have a deeply ingrained belief in the primacy of the individual voice. If we are going to take full advantage of the new ways of working that digital technologies make available, scholars will have to consider the possibility that we can accomplish more collectively than we can alone. This is not to say that the individual voice will be wholly subsumed within that of the Borg.
